Brian Crane

You are bidding on the ORIGINAL ART for the comic strip Pickles that first appeared in newspapers earlier this year on January 18. Written and drawn by creator Brian Crane, this particular art features Earl talking with his grandson, Nelson, about the old days. The inked art was drawn on a 14x5.5” piece of Bristol board, and is ready for framing to grace the wall of your favorite home gallery. Signed by Brian Crane in the third panel.

First published in 1990, Brian Crane’s Pickles has consistently entertained readers with the daily observations of elderly married couple Earl and Opal, originally inspired by Crane’s in-laws. Crane has also won the admiration of his peers having received the National Cartoonists Society’s most prestigious award, the Reuben Award, in 2013. We are thrilled to be able to offer you this chance to own a piece of Brian Crane’s original art!
